A Time to be Born
On March 13th 1987 a bouncing baby boy was born to Charles and Cheryl Edden. This boy was the last of eight (8) childen , bless with the name Tito Prince Edden.
A Time To Be Be Educated
Tito received his early education at Stephen Dilet Prmary, here in Nassau. He and his family later relocated to Freeport. He was then enrolled at Walter Parker Primary, and later graduated from St. Georges High school in 2004.
A Time To Work
“Baby Boy”, as Tito was affectionately called, was the life of the party at home and work. His first job was at the Boulevard Gas Station in Freeport. As the years went by, he was employed at Freeport Container Port for a number of years. Following in his Father’s footsteps, he decided to become a chef. He was a force to be reckoned with from the very beginning. Putting all of his blood, sweat, and tears into his cooking, and making each recipe into a masterpiece. Working atLa Doce Vita and later on at the Flying Fish Port Lucaya in Grand Bahama, those were stepping stones for something bigger. He spent his professional career tenure at Sandals Emerald bay, Grand Isles, and lastly, Kahari Resort, on the island of Exuma. While at Kahari in 2019, he was promoted to the Executive Chief at their top restaurant. This was always a milestone that he was determined to achieve. It was obvious to many that Tito had great pride in everything he did, it most definitely spoke for itself especially in every dish he prepared. Tito, was without a doubt an excellent chef who was exceedingly passionate about his career.
A Time To Unite
Tito met his wife Chanique in the year 2007. After beautiful period of courting and getting to know one another on a more intimate level the loving couple were married. The marriage ceremony was held on March 13th 2012. March 13th was also Tito’s birthday, thus the two romantically decided to spend the first 12hours of their twice as special day, to celebrate his birthday and remaining 12 hours celebrating their anniversary. This was always something special that they cherished together as a union.
A Time To Die
In July of 2022, Tito was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital due to the turn in his condition. After having multiple medical test conducted to find out the reason for his weaken condition, shortly thereafter he was diagnosed with stage four (4) lung cancer. On September 24th 2022, after be surrounded by loving family and friends during formal hospital visiting hours, Tito silently slipped away to be with his Creator at 8:10p.m.
