28th January 2022

On 6th March 1986, a beautiful baby girl was born to Donna Rox-Sweetingand Robert Rolle Sr., in Freeport, Grand Bahama. This Blessing was named “Tisha(meaning “Joy, strong willed, Honoring God”) Lauren Violet Rolle”.  Shortly after her birth, the family migratedto Nassau. Tisha was raised in the home of her maternal grandparents, Albert andViolet Rox on Claridge Road.  She touchedthe hearts of all her family members, especially her uncle Gregory, whom sheaffectionately called "my daddy’”. She was baptized and received hersacraments at Holy Family Church. She received her education at ClaridgePrimary School, C.H. Reeves and D.W. Davis High School.

Tishabecame a mother at a young age to her son Trey McKenzie, whom she took care ofwith pride and joy, with the assistance of her family.  During a visit to the home of her best friendSherene Dean, she met a gentle giant, Jamal Flowers, from Bannerman Town,Eleuthera. After several years of dating, they were joined in Holy Matrimony on20th November 2010 at Holy Family Church.  Jamal took Trey as his own. They would lateradd three siblings to the fold; Jamal Jr., Jazmine and little Jeremiah, whocelebrated his 1st birthday on Wednesday, 26th January2022, one day before his mother’s passing. She was so happy on Jeremiah’sbirthday accepting calls from family and friends.  Tisha was a wife to her husband and anawesome mother to her children; she loved her husband and children above allothers.

Tishawas diagnosed with Lupus about six years ago and sought treatment. Sheeventually became a dialysis patient and was hospitalized numerous times, weathering each storm with God’s grace and mercy.  Prior to her illness she was employed withBahamas Securities Exchange, Dairy Queen and Mr. Pretzels. After her diagnosis, she was unable to work and maintained a happy home with her husband andchildren.   She was always smiling andnever complained. Sometimes she would be in pain and wouldn’t say anythinguntil later.  When asked why she didn’tsay she was in pain, she would reply “I didn’t want to worry you”.  Her concern was always for others. Her husbandalways made it a point whenever she was hospitalized, he would go there at herbathing times and bathe her himself.  Hecherished his wife and did everything to ensure that she was as comfortable aspossible during her illnesses.

Tishawas known among the cousins to be the “favorite cousin” to each one.  Although she was small, she spoke her mind.Sherene described her as “a strong, beautiful, purpose driven and wonderfulsoul, who never let circumstances stop nor detour her from the things she wanted.”  So true! Her attitude in life was to be fair to people.  She was humble and always appreciative of anyand everything done to assist her or her family.

OnThursday, 27th January 2022, the Great Physician took Tisha home toher heavenly rewards:
