The angels in Heavencelebrated on the beautiful day of November 14th, 1955 to see thearrival of a princess born to the parentage of the late Esther and James Major.She was indeed a prized gift from God that entered the world and was christened“Marjorie Veronica Major”.
A Time to Learn
Joyce as she wasaffectionately called by family and friends began her early education at the MorrisvilleAll Age School in Long Island. Joyce adventure for life really started as she movedto Nassau to achieve her senior education at C H Reeves All Age.
A Time to Live
Joyce left an indelible markin everyone hearts and touched many lives. Joyce met and instantly fell in lovewith the young and handsome Ransford Dann. They were blessed with two beautifulchildren (Fabian and Latoya). The young couple love sparked a marriage on the27th November 1976 and they lived a fulfilled life until she passedwhile talking with her husband. She enjoyed laughing and talking with herchildren and other family members every day, whether on the phone or inperson. She was a caring, loving wife,mother, grandmother, always concerned about her family.
A Time to Work
Joyce after being a housewifefor many years decided to join the work force, she would spend her employmentyears with the Bahamas Government where she had the opportunity to work invarious government departments. The 30 plus years past quickly, she metwonderful friends during her employment and would always reminisce about thegood memories she had with them. In 2018 she retired ready to travel and devotetime back to her family.
A Time to Depart
On Friday February 10th,2023 at approximately 1a.m. at her residence on Rosewood Street PinewoodGardens Joyce slipped from time to eternity to be with her Lord and SaviorJesus Christ.
