On July 6 1969 twin babyboys were born to the late Celetha Deleveaux-Dean and Clarence Alexander FritzSr. They named them Clarence & Lawrence Alexander Fritz to the delight ofthe entire family.

Lawrence also known as “Billy” spent his early childhood in OxfordAve. The family built their dream home and relocated to Churchill Subdivision.  Lawrence loved basketball; and played thesport repeatedly on the neighborhood court nearby, where his mouth was always theloudest, as he was also the self proclaimed “best player” around town.  On this very court, was where he met a lot ofpeople, and he established good friendships throughout the neighborhood.

Lawrence attended YellowElder Primary School, S. C. McPherson Junior High School and graduated from A.F. Adderley Senior High School as part of the “Class of 1986”. Upon graduation,he went into the construction field with his father the late Clarence AlexanderFritz Sr. After spending a few years; he left the construction field to perusea new career as a Glazier (working with glass).  He was employed at Nassau Glass, CBS Bahamasand Storm Frame Windows and Doors; he was so passionate about glasswork that helater formed his own business called Glass Plus and Beyond Glass.

Lawrence grew up knowingGod, and later joined Bethany Assembly Church in 1996, where he was enrolled asa member with numerous portfolio’s, under his purview.  He was actively involved with the YouthMinistry, Maintenance Department, a Bus Driver, and also serving as a Mentor toyoung men in the church and its surrounding community. He would take the lead andspare head the planning of parties and bowling as a way to bring the familytogether in a fun and peaceful way. Lawrence was the “Peace Maker”.

Lawrence loved music; itmade him feel good even in his darkest moments. So he would DJ for parties, churches and other social events during his spare time.

Lawrence Fritz was blessedwith a beautiful daughter name; Syntyche Fritz and a beautiful granddaughtername; Jurnee Johnson. He and Syntyche were very close and there was not a daygo by that they did not talk and discuss the future, especially about hisgranddaughter.
