A TIME to BORN

It was a cool autumn day onthe 26th of November in 1980, on the island of New Providence, whenEmil & Mildred were graced with the presence of their beautiful princesswho they named, Elaine Angenell.

A TIME to LEARN

Angenell grew up in thebeautiful and quaint settlement of Bullocks Harbour, Berry Islands. She gainedher early education at the Reuban Nathaniel Gomez All Age School. Aftergraduating Secondary School with honors, she went on to further her educationat The College of the Bahamas. She later attained her Bachelor of EducationDegree at The University of the Bahamas.

A TIME to LIVE

Angenell enjoyed her familychildhood trips to Miami. In her early years, these trips were with herparents, younger sister and grandmother. In later part of her childhood, thetrips were with her mother, younger sister, aunts and cousin. She loved traveling, shopping and looking fabulous.

A TIME to WORK

Angenell began her teachingcareer at Heritage Christian School where she created lasting friendships and continuedher career to One-on-One Preschool. She later transferred to the Ministry ofEducation where she taught at Uriah McPhee Primary School.

A TIME to LOVE

It was on April 4th2004 when Angenell met the love of her life, Clotaire. She visited a store thathe managed and they immediately connected. Clotaire thought she was the mostbeautiful lady he had ever met. They began dating in 2006 and got engaged onher birthday, November 26th 2007. The couple were blessed with aprincess, Caelyn, on June 22nd 2010 and married later that year onDecember 11th 2010.

A TIME to DIE

Angenellwas diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer in late 2018. Once the information wasreceived, she and husband immediately began researching for the best courses ofaction. Angenell started treatment in early 2019 in Florida and later thatyear, her cancer went in to remission. However, in late 2020, she began toexperience shortness of breath, which led her to seek medical attention.  After running several tests and scans, it wasdiscovered that the cancer had returned and spread to other organs. Shetraveled to Miami Florida in March 2021, where a procedure was performed toassist with her breathing. Angenell then was placed on a new round ofmedication to destroy the cancer which worked for a short while, then her healthbegan to decline. She was admitted to the hospital in July 2021 where she wastreated and released after a week’s stay. She then traveled to Miami, Floridato visit her physician and consult. At this point, Angenell was in severe painand went to see a local Oncologist five days after her return home. She wasadmitted to the hospital on August 16th 2021, which proved to be herlast hospital stay. In the early morning hours of August 31st 2021,Angenell quietly slipped into eternity. Through it all, Angenell dwelt on herfavorite scripture, Isaiah 41: 10, ‘So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will upholdyou with my righteous right hand.’
