A TIME TO BE BORN
On Thursday, January 17 th ,1980 our lives were made richer by the birth of a baby boy to Julia
Bain-Hepburn and Hezekiah Hepburn(deceased). He was given the name Desmond
Davinci Hepburn. Affectionately called Bugsy / Buju by his family and
everyone that knew him well. And as he grew everyone was touched by his kindness, humor,
and mild temperament. He was truly a peacemaker and was always a source of positivity.
A TIME TO LEARN
Desmond started his early education at the Church of God of Prophecy Preschool
later went on to Yellow Elder Primary School (1985-1991) and Government High School
(1991-1997) where he developed lifelong friendships and an appreciation for learning.
Desmond went on to continue his higher education at the Bahamas Hotel Training
College (1997).
A TIME TO WORK
Upon completing his education Desmond followed his passion and this leading him
to finding gainful employment at numerous business establishments that would allow
him to follow his dreams. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Café (Waiter), The Zoo Night Club (Cook),
Hooters (Cook), 11st Diner Miami Beach (Cook), Clevelander Hotel, Miami Beach (Cook),
Olive Garden, Tifton Georgia (Cook), most recently Tint Vision(installation
technician)
A TIME TO LOVE
Over time, Desmond felt called to experience new vistas and branched out moving
the United States and this is where he met Rita Harris and they were joined in holy
matrimony and this union was blessed with one (1) child Davinci Hepburn.
A TIME TO DIE
The time came when Desmond completed his sojourn here on earth and left time for
eternity on Tuesday 20 th June,2023.
