I havefought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me at that day: 2 Tim. 4:7, 8:

OnOctober 15th, 1938, the home of late Berlin and Lottie Albury neeIngraham of Lower Bogue Eleuthera welcomed with the greatest anticipation ofarrival of their first born. She was named Cleomie Janette.

Cle, asshe was fondly nicknamed enjoyed life on the island of Eleuthera where she wasnurtured by her parents who instilled in her godly principles. She received hereducation at the Lower Bogue All Age School, however at the age of 14 years oldshe was forced to abandon school to assist her parents in supporting the home.

Her firstemployment was at Current Club as a housekeeper, she was an exceptionalemployee who loved her job.

AsCleomie matured, she bloomed into a beautiful young woman who caught the eye ofFulton Culmer (deceased) of Palmetto Point Eleuthera. On December 8th1963, they cemented their love in holy matrimony, and their union was blessedwith two precious children – Chevette Faithe and Perez Fulton. They were theapple of her eyes, she talked about them wherever she went.

Uponrelocating to Palmetto Point, Cleomie worked at the Potlatch Resort –Governor’s Harbour as a housekeeper. While there, she developed and maintainedlasting relationships.

Cleomiealways had a passion for service and helping others. After moving to NewProvidence with her husband, it was no surprise that she found employment inthe hospitality industry at the Brittannia Beach Hotel Paradise Island as ahousekeeper. While working there, she treated everyone as if they were her ownfamily. Her excellent hospitality skills drew the attention of Mr. & Mrs.John and Debbie Fuller of Canada who felt in love with her instantly.  When the Fullers relocated to New Providenceit was evident that Cleomie will become employed at their residence as ahousekeeper and cook. Later, she was employed at the Evans residence as a housekeeper and cook. She was an exceptional and reliable employee for bothfamilies. The relationship she shared with the Fullers and Evans was extendedto Chevette and Perez, who occasionally were recipients of gifts from heremployees.

Cleomiewas an honest, caring and hardworking individual, who believed in family tiesand spending time with his children, and she grew to appreciate her role asmother, grandmother, sister and ‘Aunt Cle’

Over theyears she developed a love and unique passion for cooking. Her skills wereunmatched with her signature Peas N Rice, Peas Soup and Dumplings and herfamous Macaroni & Cheese. Whenever there was a family gathering, she willprepare one of scrumptious dishes. Her home was welcoming to all (especially onSundays) family, friends, and neighbors came by to enjoy her delicious dishes.Despite being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, she continued her passion forcooking.

Cleomie’sfaith was steeped in Methodism. Her spiritual foundation came by way of CharlesWesley Methodist Church in Eleuthera. Following in the family’s tradition inNew Providence she attended Grants Town Wesley Methodist, Coke Methodist,Ascension Methodist and

finally she became an activemember at Epiphany Methodist. She understood the importance of worship and herbelief and love for her personal Savior was evident by her involvement in thewomen’s fellowship, church activities and the giving of her tithes.

InNovember 2019, Cleomie had an unfortunate accident at home and was hospitalizedfor three weeks. Upon her release from Princess Maragret, she boasted about thelove and care shown to her by her family and friends who frequent her bedside.

Cleomiewas faced with many medical challenges, but her faith in God remained strong tothe end.

On August6th 2021, while in the care of her grandchildren Ely Jr. and Christin, Cleomiechanged time for eternity.

May Her Soul Rest In Peace of Rise In Glory!
