It was the most joyous day onJune 26th, 1945, when a beautiful bouncing baby girl was born to thelate Rubin and Dorothy brown, her name was called Braciel.
Born into the loving embrace ofher parents, Rubin and Dorothy Brown, on the picturesque island of Exuma, Braciel’searly years were filled with the warmth and happiness of a close-knit family. Withthe support and guidance of her parents and grandparents, she became a woman ofremarkable strength, resilience, with a charismatic personality.
At a tender age, Braciel made thecourageous decision to leave her island home and venture to Nassau in pursuitof a brighter future. It was there that she met and married Jefferey Clarke,laying the foundation for a family of her own. With the arrival of her five children,she embarked on a Raised in a largefamily Braciel was the second oldest of nine children. Being the mother that shewas her oldest son give her such a unique name as QUEEN which she wore it sowell.
Braciel's journey was defined byher commitment to her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, andgreat-grandmother. Despite the distance from her island roots, she remainedproud of her Exuma heritage. She often reminisced on the memories of herupbringing.
In her community, Braciel was asource of light and laughter, as she often regaled friends and family with herquick wit and infectious humor. With a twinkle in her eye and a smile thatcould light up a room, she endeared herself to all who crossed her path.
Braciel was known for herpracticality and resourcefulness. Whether offering a shoulder to lean on,sharing a joke to lift spirits, or extending a helping hand to those in need,when she can. While her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knewher, her spirit will continue to shine brightly, guiding and inspiring all whowere fortunate enough to have known her.
She was predeceased by her parents:Rubin and Dorothy Brown, Grand Daughter Reneisha Gilbert, Son Ivan Clarke,Sisters Arnette Adderley and Patrica Brown, Brothers Tyrone and Billy Brown.
