August 19th1966 on the picturesque Harbour Island, time stood still, as a birthannouncement came to welcome a beautiful princess baby girl. She was given thename, Judith Antoinette Albury. She was the fifth child to David Thomas AlburyJr (deceased) and Doreen Aubrey.
Education
Her years of earlyeducation started at Harbour Island nursery, she then attended the SaintsBenedict Catholic school for her junior years to later attended Windermere HighSchool on the completion of her studies. Her greatest passion was to become ateacher, but God had other plans. She joined the “working class”. She receivedher first employment at Runaway Hill hotel which she served faithfully forfourteen years, she moved on to a little gift store “Miss Mae” for a shortperiod, then later on to Pink Sands Hotel where she then retired. With greatpride and joy she opened her own laundromat “Uncle Lou’s” washer house whichshe held dearly to her heart until she was unable to work.
ATime to Marry and Care
On August 25th2009, after falling in love with her soulmate, Michael D. Higgs also known as“Doctor Michael Cycle”. Their wedding was held at the Lighthouse Church of God.From this union came four children, two of which she conceived earlier in herlife and two in her union. All was loved as one which she cherished so dearly.
She enjoyed fishing andbaking. Her most enjoyable moments was when she was either in the boat catchingthe most fish or baking her most famous carrot cake and brownies.
A lady like no other!!Strong, Compassionate and a woman of God, everyone loved her cooking and bakingeven when she was experimenting on new recipes. Her family and friends alwaysbragged about her delicious cooking. No one can cook or fish better than“Nette” as she was affectionately called.
“Nette” was a devotedwife, mother, sister and aunt. Her main role was to ensure that her family wastaken care of even when she was at her weakest.
With so much on herplate, “Nette” was also a devoted member ofLighthouse Church of God. Her greatest joy was when she would sing with theLadies choir or attend prayer meetings. Her favorite line was "that'spowerful" when you would quote a scripture to her that she loved, shewould express great joy with receiving the word of God. "Nette" lovedthe lord dearly.

A God loving and a god-fearing woman was "Nette", even in the daysshe felt weak she still remained faithful in Gods well doing. She loved thelord.

Time stood still on January 13th 2022 around 6:55 a.m, Judith AntoinetteAlbury-Higgs defeated death's sting and quietly exchange time for eternity, andso it was, in life as it was in death. "Nette" lived a life that weknew without a doubt that was pleasing to God, May the soul of the faithfulrest in peace Woman of strength! No more pain, no more suffering.
